• Seek agreement on guiding principles and evaluation criteria
• Identify, examine, and improve options for coastal adaptation at Brewster’s public
beaches, landing-by-landing and town-wide
• Plan for summer public engagement activities
5:30 Welcome and Opening Business
• Review meeting objectives, agenda, and meeting guidelines
• Approve meeting minutes from the May 18 meeting
5:45 Review and Finalize Working Guiding Principles
• Refine and reach agreement on Guiding Principles to be used as evaluation
criteria for the Coastal Adaptation Strategy
6:00 Overview of the Brewster Bikeways Strategy
6:15 Management Strategy Options
• Brief presentation of adaptation strategy options for consideration in the Coastal
Adaptation Strategy
• Small Group examination of options
o What are the pros and cons of each of these options (using the guiding
principles)?
o How can these options be changed/improved?
o What other ideas/ options do you envision?
o What additional information would be needed to better evaluate these
options?
• Small Group Report Outs to Full Group
