HomeMy Public PortalAbout71-071 (10-19-71) RECORDING REQUESTED BY: � ` CITY CLERK, CITY OF LYNWOOD - 11330 BULLIS ROAD LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA 90262 1 RESOLUTION N0. 71-71 A PORTION OF 2 RESOLUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION OF/THE FIRST 3 ALLEY NORTH OF IMPERIAL HIGHWAY BETWEEN 4 FRACAR AND ALEXANDER AVENUES IN THE CITY 5 OF LYNWOOD. 6 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did 8 on the 21st day of September, 1971, adopt Resolution No. 71-61 9 declaring its intention to vacate the first alley north of 10 Imperial Highway between Fracar and Alexander Avenues in the City ii of Lynwood, as hereinafter described, and 12 WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and 13 posted in the time, form and manner required by law, and 14 WHEREAS, made at said hearing to 15 said proposed vacation of said alley, 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV"ED by the City Council of 17 the City of Lynwood, as follows: 1$ Section 1 . That the £ollowing described alley is 19 unnecessary for present or prospective public use: 20 The north 16 feet of Lots 6 and 7, in Block A, Tract 21 12197, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of 22 California, as per map recorded in Book 227, Pages 37 and 38 of 23 maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, 24 and it is hereby ordered that the above described alley in the I I 25 City of Lynwood, California, be vacated and abandoned. 26 Section 2 . The City of Lynwood reserves and excepts 27 from the vacation the permanent easement and right at any time, Q$ or from time to time, in, upon, over or across any alley or part 29 thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing 30 franchises or renewals thereof to construct, maintain, operate, 31 replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, 3Q cables, wires, poles and other convenient structures, equipment -1- 1 and fixtures for the operation o£ telephone lines, and for the 2 transportation and distribution of electrical energy, including 3 access and the right to keep the property free from inflammable 4 materials, and wood growth, and otherwise protect the same from 5 all hazards in, upon and over the alley or part thereof proposed s to be vacated, pursuant to Section 833o Streets & Highways Code. 7 Section 3 .
