RESOLUTION NO. 71-72
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA COMMENDING HOWARD HEMEIVWAY
FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO THE COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Mr. Howard Hemenway served the City of
Lynwood from 1931 to 1971, and
WHEREAS, during these forty years he provided
distinguished service to this community as a Municipal Court
Judge and as City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, he further served his community as a long-time
member of the Lynwood Rotary Club and in his Stewardship of the
Lynwood Methodist Church.
NOW, THEREFORE� BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD:
That this Resolution be adopted as an expression of
our esteem for former City Attorney Howard Hemenway and as an
expression of our gratitude for his devotion to his duty as
a community leader.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of November,
1971.
