RESOLUTION NO. 15-8960
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO PREPARE AN ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS
ASSESSMENT; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa -locka has an obligation to maximize the efficient
expenditure of tax dollars; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to make sure that all tax dollars are
spent wisely; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has an obligation to exercise oversite over the
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Manager is directed to provide the City Commission with an
up -to -date organizational chart within 30 days and to conduct and provide the
Commission with a detailed needs assessment analyzing and assessing the need for
each position contained in the chart in conjunction with the budgetary cost.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
