RESOLUTION NO. 15-8964
A RESOLUTION OF CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE MANAGER TO
EARMARK FUNDS OBTAINED FROM INTERAGENCY
POLICE TASK FORCES TO PURCHASE NEW POLICE
VEHICLES; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa -locka is entitled to receive funds from the Opa -locka
Police Department's participation in law enforcement task forces; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest for the City of Opa -locka to use these
funds to purchase new police vehicles to better protect the City; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission desire to direct the City Manager
to use funds received from law enforcement task forces to purchase new, police vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to use funds
received from Opa- locka's participation in law enforcement task forces to
purchase new police vehicles.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
