RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, NEW JERSEY
APPROVING THE 2010 CDBG NONPROFlT ORGANIZATlONS BUILDlNG
REHABILITATlONPROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Borough ofCarteret has been allocated $51,000.00 from the Middlesex
Couoly Housing and Development Program for 2010-2011 CDBG year; and
'YHEREAS, a meeting was held on March 30, 2010 to solicit comments and
recommendations from the nonprofit organizations of the Borough of Carteret;
application deadline was May I, 2010; and
'WHEREAS, the Carteret Community Development Program has had the opportunity to
discuss the proposals with the Mayor and Council and the Carteret Community
Development Board; and
'WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the Community Development Board that the
following nonprofit organizatio~ meet the guidelines of the Citizen's Pamcipation List
of Eligible Building Rehabilitation Projects:

St. Mary's Church
Nicholas Minue Star Landing Post
St. Joseph's Church
First Presbyterian Church
Carteret Craftsmen Club
Ukranian American Citizens Club
Carteret American Legion Post #263
Zion Ev. Lutheran Church
Knights of Columbus Club
Living Water Family Bible Center
Linden Revival Center Church
2010 Carteret CDBG Non Profit Organizations
Building Rehabilitation Program

WHEREAS, the above program was unanimously approved by the Community
Development Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Couocll of the Borough
of Carteret hereby consent to the submission of the above named proposals.
