RESOLUTION NO. 15-8981
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO LOCATE SUFFICIENT RESOURCES TO FUND
A REHABILITATION OF THE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER
AND REPORT TO THE COMMISSION WITHIN 30 DAYS;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Opa -locka Cultural Arts Center is the heart of the Great City of
Opa- locka's esteemed culture; and
WHEREAS, It should never be permissible for a City's Cultural Arts Center to
fall into disrepair; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires that funds be located to repair the
Cultural Arts Center.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to locate
adequate funding to rehabilitate the Opa -locka Cultural Arts Center and to
provide a report to the City Commission within thirty (30) days.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
