AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2002 -8
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF DEPARTMENTS OF CITY
GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING
SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING
THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE
YEAR 2003
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, that Ordinance 2002 -8 "An Ordinance Establishing the Size of
Departments of City Government of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries for
the Employees of Such Departments and Fixing the Salaries of Certain Other Appointed
Officials for the Year 2003" is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION SIX: That the Park and Recreation Department shall consist of three
(3) full time members, twelve (12) seasonal employees, twenty (20) pool lifeguards and
six (6) Instructors for Spark and (1) Tennis Instructor. Base pay ranges, including
the maximum, shall be as follows:
Spark Instructors (6) $3,780.00
(6 instructors @ $7.00 per hour x 90 hours each)
Tennis Instructor $ 225.00
(1 @ $7.50 per hour x 30 hours)
SECTION SEVEN: That the Sewage Department shall consist of eleven (11) full
time members and one (1) Engineer Technician. Base pay ranges, including the
maximum, shall be as follows:
M2 — Collection System Laborer $19,100.00 - $20,100.00
M3 — Collection System Operator $19,100.00 - $23,350.00
C3 — Senior Clerk $19,100.00 - $24,873.00
C2 — Collection Clerk $19,100.00 - $22782.00
SECTION EIGHT: That the Department of Water Works shall consist of eleven
(11) full time members and three (3) part time members. Base pay ranges, including the
maximum, shall be as follows:
-- C3 — Senior Clerk $19,100.00 - $27,962.00
C2 — Billing Clerk $19,100.00 — 22,800.00
Part time (2 ICE Students — I @ $5.15 per hour &
1 @ $7.00 per hour) $12,072.00
