A RI~OLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TRUCKi~ AtYIHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO
EXECLrIE A 1 FASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT TO
A~ SNOW BLOWING ~
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee is in nc~ of equipment for snow removal; and
WItEREAS, a used CAT 950 loader for mounting on one of the Snowblast rotary
snowblower units is available for purchase at the price of $32,000 plus tax or in
the alternative for $1,088.12 per month after a fast payment of $1,188.12, at an
interest rate of 8.79 percent for used equipment on a lease purchase arrangement;
NOW, TI41~~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Truckee that:
1. The Tbwn Manager be authorized to acquire said snowblower unit.
The Town Manger consider lease purchasing (for $1,088.12 per
month after a first payment of $1,188.12, at an interest rate of 8.79
percent for used equipment on a lease purchase arrangement) for
the CAT 950 loader.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the
Council of the Town of Truckee, held on the 8th day of July, 1993, by Council
Member Aguera who moved its adoption, which motion being duly seconded by
Council Member Drake was upon roll call carded and the Resolution adopted by
the following vote:
