RESOLUTION N0. '70-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING
NOTSCE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENEP�AL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, THE
14TH DAY OF APRIL, 1970, FOR THE ELECTION OF
CERT�IN OFFICERS OF SAID CI'L'Y AS REQUIRED BY
THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES.
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to
General Law Cities in the State of California, a regular gen-
eral municipal election shall be held on the 14th day of April,
1970, for the election of two members of the City Council of
said City for the full term of four years, a City Clerk of said
City for the full term of four years, and a City Treasurer of said
City for the full term o£ four years;
NOW, THL^:REFORE, TItE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER
AS FOLLOWS:
Sectlon l . That pursuant to the requirements of the
laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities
within said State, there shall be, and there is hereby called and
ordered, held in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, on Tuesday, the 14th day of April, 1g70, a regular
general municipal election of the qualified electors of said City
for the purpose of election two members of the City Council of said
City for the full term of four years; a City Clerk o£ said City for
the full term of four years; and a City Treasurer of saia City for
the full term of four years.
Section 2 . That the ballots to be used at said election
shall be, both as to form and matter contained therein, such as

may be required by law to be used thereat.
Section 3• That the City Clerk of said City is hereby
authorized, instructed and directed to procure and furnish
any and all official ballots, notices, printed matter and all
supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that may be necessary in order
to properly and lawfully conduct said election.
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this Resolution and shall make a minutes
of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings
of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
Section 5 . That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of January, 1970.
