RESOLUTION N0, 70-9
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF A
PRELIMINARY REPORT OF MAINTENANCE OF STREET
LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as £ollows:
Section 1 : That the City Engineer be and he is hereby
directed to make and file with the City Clerk of said city a
report, in writing, covering the maintenance of street lighting in
said city for a period of three years commencing July 1, 1970,
Section 2i That said report shall contain the following:
(a.) Plans and specifications for the proposed improvement,
(b) An estimafe o£ the cost o£ said improvement for the
period of time above speci£ied,
(c) A diagram snowing the proposed assessment district
and also the boundaries and dimensions of the respective lots or
parcele of land within said district, each of which lots or parcels
to be given a separate number upon the diagram.
(d) A proposed assessment of tile total amount o£ the
costs and expenses of the proposed improvement upon tYie several
lots or parcels of land in the a.ssessment district in proportion
to the estimated benefits to be received by such lots or parcels,
respectively, from said development.
Section 3; That sucn report shall be in compliance
witti the provisions of the Street Lighting Act of 1g19 Part I,
of Division 14 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, as amended.
