Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.98-28
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR '1'HL INSTALLATION
OF C.S.A.H. 101 WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the installation of the C.S.A.H. 101
water main improvement, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Kuechle Underground, Inc. of Kimball, Minnesota, is the lowest
responsible bidder on said improvement project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the city council of the city of Medina,
Nfinnesota, as follows:
1. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Kuechle Underground, Inc. of Kimball, Minnesota, in the name of the
city of Medina for the installation of C.S.A.H. 101 water main improvement according
to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the city council and on file in the
office of the clerk -treasurer.
2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
3. The city hereby indicates its intent to reimburse itself from bond proceeds for this
improvement project.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Hamilton and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Thies, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
