RESOLUTION N0. 70-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD SUPPORTING THE PLANTING OF
TREES AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR SAID
TREE PLANTING.
WHEREAS, all citizens of the City of Lynwood are
concerned with beautification of the city's streets, and
WHEREAS, the pla,nting of trees is encouraged in the
interesi: of the health and well-being o£ the citizens and for the
city's bea.utificati�n,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood
resolves a,s follows:
l. That the trees which may be planted in parkways within
the City be either Liquidambar Orientalie or Myoporum Laetum.
2. Tha,t maximum planting a 16'� box specimen.
3. That no tree be planted in a pa,rkway mea,suring
less than 3'0" in width.
5. That a permit from the Engineering Department be
required to remove or plant a tree in a city parkway, with no charge
bein� made for said permit.
