RE30LUTION N0. 70-15
RESOLUTION OF IN`ITENTION TO ABATE DRY AND
DRYING WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND
IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, Chapter 13 of the Government Code, cited as
"Weed and Rubbiah Abatement," provides for abatement of dry and
drying weeds that constitute a public nuisance, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of fhe City o£ Lynwood bg the Superintendent of
Streets that there exists a public nuisance on certain parcels
of land in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter more p�rticularly
described;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood, as followsi
1. That a public nuisance exiets upon the parcels of
land, lofs, or portions of lots set fo�th below:

2. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed
to cauee said notices to be posted in the time, £orm, and manner
requi.red by law,
3. That the proceedings for aforesaid work shall be
�aken under ar Aet of the Legislature of t�he State of California
designated as tt.e Government Code, Chapter 13, Section 395�1, et
seq., cited as "Weed and Rubbish Abatement," and amendments thereto.
4. Notice is hereby given that on the 17th day of
March, 1970, 'I`ueeday, at the hour of 7:30 p.m, in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City ot' L;�nwood,
any and all persons having any objections or proteste to said
proposed work may appear before said City Council and show caase
why said propoeed wos�k should not be carried out in accordance
with said Act.
