R�SOLUTION N0. 7p-23
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTAORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS
PERTAINING TO THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood, a municipal corporation,
will hereinafter be re£erred to as "City" and Robert C. Hill and
Jacaueline A. Hill, will hereinafter be jointly referred to as
"�.ill," and
WHEREAS, City and Hill heretofore executed escrow
instructions wherein City agreed to sell to Hill and Hill agreed
to purchase from City the real property hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, said escrow instructions constitute an enforceable
agreement upon the part of City to sell and upon the part of Hill
to purchase said real property, and
WHEREAS, an error was made in the original escrow
instructions in describing the real property hereinabove referred
to, and
WHER�AS, the real property hereinabove referred to is
correctly described as follows:
Parcel 1 and the Westerly 22.5 feet o£ Parcel 2 in the
City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, as shown on Parcel Map
filed in Book 24 Page 14 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, said 22.5 feet being measured along
or parallel with the Southerly line of Parcel 2, and
I WHEREAS, except for the execution of an amendment to the
escrow instructions amending and correcting the legal description
of said real property and except for the adoption of this resolution
by the City Council of City and the execution of the Corporation
Grant Deed by the Mayor of the City of Lynwood transferring and
conveying said real property to Hill, the escrow is in a condition
to be closed, the documents recorded and the consideration to be

paid over to City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . That the Mayor of the City o£ Lynwood is
authorized and empowered to execute on behalf of the City of
Lynwood an amendment to the escrow instructions correctly
describing the real property to be conveyed to Robert C. Hill and
Jacqueline A. Hill, as joint tenants, the said legal description
to read as follows:
Parcel l and the Westerly 22.5 feet of Parcel 2 in the
City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, as shown on Parcel Map
£iled in Book 24 page 14 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, said 22.5 feet being measured
along or parallel with the Southerly line of Parcel 2.
Section 2 . That the Mayor of the City o£ Lynwood is
authorized and empowered to execute on behalf of the City of
Lynwood a corporation grant deed transferring and conveying
to Robert C. Hill and Jacqueline A. Hill, in fee simple, the
real property described in paragraph 1, and
Section 3 . That the Mayor of the City of Lynwood is
authorized and empowered to execute on behalf of the City any and
all other documents and papers necessary and proper to convey a
legal title in fee simple to Robert C. Hill and Jacqueline A. Hill,
as joint tenants.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 1970.
