RESOLUTION NO. 15-8988
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO RETAIN EDEN
LAW SERVICES OF SOUTH FLORIDA TO PERFORM A TITLE
SEARCH ON THE CUYAHOGA PROPERTY IN CONNECTION
WITH THE CITY'S ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,The City of Opa-locka Commission has directed the City Attorney to
initiate enforcement actions on the Cuyahoga property; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary to retain a firm to perform a title search on the
property to insure a proper accounting of existing liens and other issues in order to
carry out the will of the Commission in moving forward with enforcement; and
WHEREAS, Eden Law Services of South Florida has expertise in the area of title
searches and has over fifteen years experience practicing law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby retains Eden Law Services of South
Florida to perform a title search on the Cuyahoga property.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
