A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS TO THE LYNWOOD JAYCEES
FOR ADVERTISING, PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY FOR
1970-71
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
Section 1 . An Agreement exists between the City of Lynwood
and the Lynwood Jaycees to which this resolution is a part and is
referred to as "Exhibit A." The purpose of this exhibit is to establish
a budget and method of payment to the Jaycees in exchange for adver-
tising, promotion, and publicity of this city.
Section 2 . There is appropriated from the General Fund
of the city a total of $1,800 which is the maximum to be paid for
advertising, promotion, and publicity to the Jaycees in fiscal 1970-71.
This sum will be allocated as follows:
a. $900 on or about September l, 1970,
b. $900 on or about March 1, 1g71.
Section 3 • A de£inite budget indicating anticipated items
of expenditure is outlined below:
Miss Lynwood Contest $ 600
Operation Santa Claus 300
Youth and Sports 400
Fourth of July 400
Miscellaneous 100
The Jaycees may not exceed the amount allocated for any one item he�ein
described without prior written approval of the City Manager.
Section 4 . This exhibit resolution shall terminate on
June 3�, 1971.
