AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1998 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted a budget for
calendar year 1998; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it is necessary to transfer money from
one major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the 1998 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund – Fire Department
1. Delete $10,240.00 from Repair Vehicles
Existing account no. 101-02-011-1101-3-3624
2. Delete $2,500.00 from Turn-Out Cleaning
Existing account no. 101-02-011-1101-3-3991
3. Add $12,740.00 to Uniform and Accessories
Existing account no. 101-02-011-1101-2-2413
Passed and adopted this 7th day of December, 1998, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
