RESOLUTION NO. 15-8993
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THAT
"ADD-ON" AGENDA ITEMS BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE
PUBLIC; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, It is common under City Commission Rules of Procedure for
Agenda items to added after the Agenda is made public; and
WHEREAS, In order to improve transparency in the process and insure public
input it would be appropriate to make the "add on" agenda items available to the
public prior to the meeting.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Clerk to place the titles
of all add on Agenda items at a location available for public view in the
Commission Chamber prior to meetings in the manner and form in which the
staff disseminates copies of the Commission Agendas; and further, to have
available a copy of the complete items for public inspection if so requested.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
