A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE RE-APPROPRIATION OF $60,380.41 FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND
REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) FUNDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO
AUTOMATIC LICENSE PLATE READING (ALPR) SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, On June 16, 2009 the City Council approved the purchase of two
Automatic License Plate Reading (ALPR) systems from the $298,824 American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act allocation, and
WHEREAS, staff originally allocated the funding in the FY 2009-10 City budget;
and
WHEREAS, staff needs to carry over $60,380 41 from the FY, 2009-10 budget in
order to make the purchase during this fiscal year
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS•
Section 1. That the City Council approves the re-appropriation of $60,380 41
for the purchase of two Automatic License Plate Reading (ALPR) systems.
From, Fund JAG ARRA Grant To. 3801 40.236 66015 JAG ARRA Grant
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7` day of September, 2010.
