A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI� OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A JOHN DEERE 26536 PRECISION CUT
MOWER FOR USE�.AT CITY PARKS AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER OR
DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY PARK MAINTENANCE GRANT TO COVER THE COSTS OF
THE NEEDED EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, At the end of September 2010, the City's agreement with PIMA
Corporation for the maintenance of Yvonne Burke — John D Ham Park will expire, and
WHEREAS, New lawn equipment is needed to maintain'the City's .parks for
safety and aesthetics purposes
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND,,PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds pursuant to Lynwood Municipal Code
section 6-3 13 that the equipment required to perform the lawn maintenance services
can only be obtained from one source Alternatively the Council finds that acquiring
such equipment without biding is more economical and efficient.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the purchase of a John Deere '
2653 B Precision Cut Mower and Utility Trailer from AA Equipment.
Section 3. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer

Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
