A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO RELEASE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND
PERTINENT REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR CITY FLEET ACQUISITION,
FINANCING, AND MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the city is interested in evaluating a RFP and RFQ for City fleet
acquisition, financing, and maintenance, and
WHEREAS, potential cost savings to the City is important to the City Council
and staff
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Councii authorizes staff to release a RFP
and RFQ for City fleet acquisition, financing, and maintenance.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
• Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7 day of September, 2010.
