A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR BUS SHELTERS ADVERTISEMENT AND MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the City's existing bus shelters and trash receptacles are about
twenty years old and should be upgraded and replaced, and
WHEREAS, certain advertisement firms wili replace existing bus shelters, trash
receptacles and provide maintenance of the bus shelter sites at no cost to the City in
return for the exclusive right to advertise on the shelters
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the issuance '
of a Request for Proposals for Bus Shelter Advertisement and Maintenance.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7� day of September, 2010.
