A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE NATATORIUM REHABILITATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.898, AS
BEING COMPLETE; F'�ND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE
RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on May 4, 2010, the City Council awarded a contract to Condor,
Inc. in the amount of $457,000 for the Natatorium Rehabilitation project; and
WHEREAS, the project started on May 29, 2010 and was completed on August
12, 2010 ' �
WHEREAS, a change order for additional necessary work in the amount of
$33, 104 was approved; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $490,104, and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on August 31,
2010 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES •
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Natatorium Rehabilitation, Project No 4011 67 898, as complete in accordance with
contract documents, and authorize the City Engineer to process the recordation of the
Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7 day of September, 2010.
