A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FIXING THE
TIME, PLACE AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO RECEIVE PUBLIC
COMMENTS ON THE FINDING OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE POCKET
PARKS PROJECT
WHEREAS, staff has determined that the Pocket Parks Project will not have a
significant impact and as such propose a finding of a Negative Declaration, and
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requires a 30 day
public comment period; and .
WHEREAS, a public hearing is required in order to close the comment period
and receive any public comments.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Notice is hereby given that on October 19, 2010, at the hour of 5�00
p m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California, is
the date, hour and place fixed for the hearing to receive comments in regards to the
finding of a Negative Declaration for the Pocket Parks Project.
Section 2. The Director of Public Works/City Engineer is hereby directed to
cause notice of the passage of this resolution to be given at the time and place in the
form and manner provided by law
Section 3. Copies of the Negative Declarations will be available in Office of the
City Clerk for review and comment.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7� day of September, 2010.
