HomeMy Public PortalAbout1998-04199 Member Hamilton introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.98-41 RESOLUTION GRANTING AN AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR WOODRIDGE CHURCH WHEREAS, Woodridge Church (the "Applicant") was granted a conditional use permit by the city council on August 1, 1995 pursuant to Resolution No. 95-29; and WHEREAS, the Applicant has constructed a church and related facilities pursuant to the conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Applicant has now requested an amendment to its conditional use permit to expand the church facility and related parking lot; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission at its meeting on July 14, 1998 and by the city council at its meeting on July 21, 1998; and WHEREAS, the city council has determined that the Applicant's request for an amended conditional use permit to expand the church and parking lot will not impede the orderly and normal development of adjacent lands for purposes for which they are zoned. NOW, IHLREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that an amended conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following conditions: 1. The Applicant must provide information as requested by the city engineer, including the driveway width widening; 2. Additional landscaping must be provided to the east of the building and additional trees provided on the site of the new parking lot. Islands must be included in the new parking lot and landscaping with trees, as is the case with the existing parking lot; RHB-147586 ME230-214 98-41 08-04-98 100 3. No parking shall be allowed on either side of the driveway from Co. Rd. 24 to the parking lot. This driveway shall be posted with no parking signs; 4. All landscaping must be maintained and replaced if it dies; 5. The Applicant must execute a development agreement with the city to insure completion of the site improvements; and 6. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in the amount sufficient to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application. NOW, '1H1. REFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that all terms and conditions of Resolution No. 95-29 are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part thereof.
