- ' The City Council of the Gity of Lynwood does resolde �
as follows: , ' • ' . , . . -,
� � WI-iEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 17 of Lynwood
; �i•iunicipal Code'provides that all buildings or s.tructures or portions ,
thereof in the C•ity of Lynwood which are�struc.turally unsafe,
', partially,destroyed, unsanitary, dilapidated from old age or neglect,
�,. . or are otherwise dange'rous to human 'life, is a substandard building,
- and may be declared a nuisance by the City Council of the City,of I
Lynwood and therea£ter,be abated as therein,provided; and.

� ,' WHEREAS, the Building Department of the City of, Lynwood
� has.made.inspections of the buildings located on the real_property,.
'� as hereinafter described, and has declared them to'be unsafe and a'

� '_ NOW, THER�'ORE, the.City Council, sitting as a Board of

, March, 1969 ,.by the City�Council on the issue as to,whether or not � �

�� the buildings located on the, hereinafter described property should �

The buildings located on said real property consists
.. of three small one-story wood frame�structures
with asbestos covering, formerly used as sleeping
houses, plus two shed type structures for-debris
storage purposes; all commonly known as ` .

Section 2. That the buildings hereinabove referred to
, are declared to be a public nuisance'and should be condemned as

such and said nuisance is hereby ordered to be abated and the
Building Official of the City of Lynwood is hereby ordered to
direct the owner to abate the nuisance within thirty (30) days after
. the date of posting on said premises a notice of the passage of this'
resolution by having said buildings razed or removed and the
Building Official is further ordered.to notify the owners by
re�istered or certified mail that -if said nuisance_is riot abated said
. � buildings will be razed and removed by the City of Lynwood and the
expense thereof made a lien on the lot or land upon'which.the buildings
are located as hereinabove described.
� Section 3. That 3f said"nuisance'is' riot abated within` - �
the time prescribed by Section 2 hereof the Building Official of the
City of Lynwood may therefore raze and remove the buildings so
declared to constitute a nuisance or have the same dcne under its direction
" and supervision. .
