RESOLUTION N0.69-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD SUPPORTING THE EARLE M. JORGENSEN COMPANY
ANNEXATION REQUEST
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, the Earle M. Jorgensen Company of Lynwood has
submitted a request to the Local Agency Formation Commission for an
annexation on a portion of land which they own, bounded by Alameda
Street, 103rd Street, the City of Los Angeles and 10,7th Place, and
WHEREAS, the corporate headquarters and the Los Angeles
Regional Office of the Earle M. Jorgensen Company are within the city
limits of the City o£ Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to have the .corporate entity
located in one political jurisdiction, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City
of Lynwood that the Earle M. Jorgensen Company. could best be ser.ved
by the City. of Lynwood due to the close proximity of governmental
facilities to the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood does officially go on record as supporting the
` annexation'request of the Earle M. Jorgensen Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council requests that
the Local Agency Formation Commission approve the annexation request
of : the Barle'M. Jorgenson Company, an annexation entitled "Earle
