RESOLUTION No. 69-z7,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPOINTING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE MUPSICIPAL
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS OFFICER.,

The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereb� resolve
as follows:
Section l. Chapter 10, Division 4, Title l, of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California (Sections 3500 et seq.) establishes
a reasonable method of resolving disputes regarding wages, hours, and i
other terms and conditions of employment between public employers
and public employee organizations.
Section 2. The City Council has adopted r,easonable rules
and regulations as authorized by law, to implement the requirements
of the Government Code.
Sectiori 3. It is the intent of the City Council to designate
a Municipal Employee Relations Officer who sha11 be the City's
principle representative in all matters of employer-employee relations.
THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Manager
shall be designated as, and assigned the functions of, Municipal
Employee Relations Officer for the City of Lynwood.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of May 1969 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Byork;'Green, Siokos Smith Steveris
