HomeMy Public PortalAbout1998-048119 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 98-48 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL FOR THOMAS D. SAWVEL WHEREAS, Thomas Sawvel (the "Applicant") is the owner of property currently described as Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Hickory Haven, Hennepin County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant wishes to replat the Subject Property into a single lot; and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat of the Subject Property was reviewed by the planning commission at its meeting on July 14, 1998, and by the city council at its meeting of August 4, 1998, for its conformance with the ordinances and requirements of the city. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that preliminary approval be granted to the Applicant for the plat of the Subject Property, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The final plat must comply with all requirements of the city engineer; 2. The secondary septic site on the undeveloped portion of the Subject Property must be protected by fencing during the construction of the proposed garage; 3. The final plat must be in compliance with all requirements of the city, including the matters contained in the city attorney's plat opinion dated August 5, 1998; 4. The final plat must be submitted to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the date of approval of this resolution or an extension of such time must be granted by the city council prior to its expiration; and 5. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in the amount necessary to reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application.
