HomeMy Public PortalAbout1998-049121 Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 98-49 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR BEAULIEU ADDITION WHEREAS, Lance Beaulieu and Sunny Lyne Beaulieu (the "Applicants") are the fee owners of property located within Medina (the "Property") and legally described as follows: All of the East half (E 1/2) of the West half (W 1/2) of the Southeast (SE 1/4) Quarter of Section Nine (9), Township One Hundred Eighteen (118) North, Range Twenty-three (23) West of the 5th Principal Meridian, except therefrom those parts thereof lying South of the center line of Hamel Road, described as follows: and A) That part of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 9, Township 118 North, Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence West along the South line of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter to a point 1777.38 feet (26.93 chains) West of the Southeast corner of said Section 9; thence deflecting right 90° a distance of 102 feet; thence deflecting right to a point on the East line of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter distant 32 feet North of said Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence South to the point of beginning; Also that part of the South 79.86 feet (1.21 chains) of the East half of the Southwest quarter of SE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 118 North, Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying West of a line drawn North perpendicular to the South line of said East half of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter from a point on said South line distant 1986.60 feet (30.10 chains) West of the Southeast corner of said Section 9. B) That part of Section Nine (9) Town and Range aforesaid bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point Twenty Six and 93/100 (26.93) chains West of the South East corner of said Section Nine (9) thence running North one and 21/100 (1.21) chains thence West Three and 17/100 (3.17) chains thence South one and 21/100 (1.21) chains to section line thence East Three and 17/100 (3.17) chains to place of beginning containing one (1) acre of land. WHEREAS, the Applicants desire to plat the Property into 2 lots and dedicate easements to the public; and RHB-149008 ME230-105 98-49 09-01-98 122 Beaulieu Addition; and WHEREAS, the Applicants have prepared the final plat of Beaulieu Addition in accordance with the preliminary approval and the ordinances of the City and now hereby request final approval of said plat. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the city council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, that final plat approval be granted to the Applicants for Beaulieu Addition, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicants must pay to the City an administrative fee in the amount necessary to reimburse the City for its expenses in reviewing this plat; and 2. The Applicants must file the final plat of Beaulieu Addition with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of this resolution or the final plat approval hereby granted shall be null and void.
