RESOLUTION NO. 15-9006
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO CREATE AN "EMERGENCY AID FORCE"
TO DEAL WITH EMERGENCY APARTMENT HOUSING
AND DISASTER ISSUES; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City has experienced a number of emergency apartment
housing and other disasters related matters; and
WHEREAS, There is a need to have a coordinated response to these type of
emergency situations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to create an Emergency Aid
Force to deal with and address emergency apartment housing and other
disasters related matters.
Section 3. The City Manger is hereby further directed to report back to the
City Commission for approval and activation within 30 days of the effective
date of this Resolution.
Section4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
