RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN'COIINECTIOPd
- WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT 0� LOS FLORES BOULEVARD,
BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE.CURB RND'
GUTTER AND DRIVEWAY APPROACHES, TOGETHER WITH
ALL INGIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City�of I,ynwood did,
on the 19th day of December, 19E7, approve an investigation
report under the provisions of Division � of the Streets and �
Highway Code, cited as '�Special Assessment Investigation, �
'� as amended u on
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 , P
the proposed improvement of Los Flores Boulevard, by the
construction of concrete cuxb and gutter and drive approaches,
tbgether with all incidental and appurtenant work, as shown on
Plan No, 1y67-L-2 on file in the o£fice of the City Clerk of
said city, and
WHEREAS, said report having been duly prepared and .
filed, a hearing was held by said City Council on the 6th day
of Fabruary, 1968 in the manner provided in said Act above
referred to, and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the
� date of mailing notices of hearing on said report, �
NOW, THEREFORE,._the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the protests made at ea.id hearing on said
investigation report be and the same are hereby overruled;
2, That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require the doing and making of the public improvement set forth
and deacribed in aaid report above re£erred to and substantially
in the manner set torth;
3. That the project coneisting of the proposed
- improvement above referred to is fea.sible, and that the land
to be assessed will be carry the burden of said propo�ed
asaessment; � �

4. That the esfimated total amount proposed to be
assessed upon any or all lots or parcels of land for the costs
� and expenaes of said proposed improvement does not exceed the
limitation of indebtedness establiehed and set forth in said act
above referred to.and will not, by the levy thereof, cause said
limitation to be exceeded in any instance;
5, That no majority protest has been filed with the
Clerk of the legislative body by the owners of the property
proposed t� be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said
proposed improvement; �
, 6. That it is hereby,ord`ered that the proceedings
for the malcing of said proposed improvement be undertaken .
pursuant to the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the
State of California, designated as Division 7 0£ the Streets and
Highwa.ya Code, cited as the �mprovement'"Act o£ 1911, and amendments
thereto". �
