RESOLUTION N0, 68-13
A RESOLUTION PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS, AND
" DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
ABATE THE NUISANCE OF DRY AND DRYING WEEDS
THAT EXIST ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN
.. THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, did on the 16th da� of January 1g68 adopt Resolution
No. 68-5 relating to the abatement of dry and drying weeds on
certain parcels o£�land in the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAB, due notice was given to destroy such weeds by
posting "Notice fo Destroy Weeds" notices as required by law, and
WTTEREAS, at the time and place fixed £or the hearing of
protests and objections to said matter, a hearing was duly held.
and no written or oral ob�jections were made to the doing of said
work, and
WHEREAS theCity Council of the City of Lynwood has
considered all the facta and is fully informed in the matter,
and they have aequired jurisdiction to proceed and per.form the .
work of removal of �aid nuisance.
NOW, Tf�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent
of Streeta of the City of Lynwood be, and he is hereby instructed
to abate the nuisance described in said Resolution No. 68-5 by
, having eaid nuisances xeferred to removed, and he and his
, assistante are hereby expressly authorized to enter upon private
property_for'that purpose,
"� " SE IT F.URTI-�R RESOLVED that any property owners shall

� have the right to have any such nuisance remoVed and abated at
,. his own expense, provided such work is done.prior to the time the
work is done by the Superintendent of Streets. If the work is,
.done b'y che property owner, no charge shall be made by the City .
