RESOLUTION N0. 68-41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
' LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR ADVERTISING, PRO-
MOTION AND PUBLICITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1968-69 "
The City Council of the City o£ Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
Se'ctiori 1 . An Agreement exists.bet.ween the City of Lynwood
and the Lynwood Chamber of Commer.ce to which this resolution is a
part and is referred to as "Exhibit A.° The pur,pose of this exhibit
is to establish a budget and a method of payment to the Chamber in
exchange £or advertising, promotion, and publicity for the city.
It is the City Couneil's desire .that strict attention be paid to a11
facet's� o£ said Agreement,. especially those of Section 2 which refer
to gaining permission for "approved" advertising and "misleading"
advertising.
Se'ctibn 2 . There is appripriated from the General Fund
of the city;-a-total of w11 ,.7.16..66_.which-is the.maximum .to .be paid_
, for advertising, promotion, and publicity in fiscal 19.68-69. This _
money will be allocated at the rate of $976.39 per month beginning
on or about July l,, 1968 and continuing to be paid on or abo,ut the
- first day of each month £or the remaining eleven months of the
fiscal year until the .total amount is paid and subject to the audit
and payback stipulations cont�ned in the Agreement.
S'ect'iori 3 . A definite budget indicating anticipated items
of expenditures is outlined.tielow. Maximum salary in relation to
revenues has been �provided, but under no circumstance will such
administrative costs exceed thirty-three and one-third percent
�33-1/30) of alT monies, £rom whatever source, expended £or city
advertising and publicity.

cumstances may expenditures for administrative costs exceed the
