HomeMy Public PortalAbout1998-056139 Member Thies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.98-56 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR THOMAS D. SAWVEL WHEREAS, Thomas D. Sawvel (the "Applicant") is the owner of property located in the city of Medina and currently described as Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Hickory Haven, according to the plat on file in Hennepin County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant received preliminary approval to replat the Subject Property into a single parcel by the city council on September 1, 1998; and WHEREAS, the Applicant has applied for final approval for the plat of the Subject Property; and WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the staff and city council for its compliance with the requirements of the ordinances of the city and of the terms of preliminary plat approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that final approval be granted to the Applicant for the replat of the Subject Property, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The secondary septic site on the undeveloped portion of the Subject Property must be protected by fencing during construction of the proposed garage; 2. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in the amount necessary to reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application; and 3. The Applicant must file the plat with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void.
