WHEREAS, at�the special City Council meeting of July 30,
1g68 a large number of persons desiring to hear and be heard has
app'eared at said Council Chambers, and • � ',. •
WHEREAS; the space and facilities of said chambers is
. insufficient to accommodate all of said persons, and
' WHEREAS, the'Chief of the City'Fire Department and Deputy
�State Fire Marshal have notified the City Council that they cannot
�permit crowds to assemble in halls of,the City Hal1 in v'uch numbers,

WHEREAS, an emergency exists due to the number of persons-
attending said meeting, requiring the continuance of the meeting
- outside the Council Chambers, and . •
WHEREAS, the City Council ie authorized by Ordinance No.
766 to adjourn meetings of the City Council to some place outside
the Council Chamb.ers of the City Hall, and _,'
� WHEREAS, Bateman Hall, 11331 Ernestine Avenue, is convenient
and of sufficient capacity t� accommodate the persons des'iring to ', '
hear and be heard;,
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED: ^

hereby order that said meeting be adjourned and continued to�said
