� . SCHOOL DISTRICT AUTHORITIES IN THEIR ACTION CON-
.. CERNIIdG USE OF NARCOTICS.
WHEREAS, the use`of.dangerous drugs and dependence-

inducing substances presents an extreme dan�er to the user and
, constitutes a major problem to society and law enforcement,' and
WHEREAS, the use"of such drugs and substances has its
greatest impact on young people, and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the Lynwood TJnified School�
District has adopted a policy of stern discipline for those students
' �found to be using any dangerous drug or cthex� dangerous substance,
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City o£ Lynwood that it support wholeheartedly the efforts being `
made by those responsible for the education of Zynwood's youth to
eliminate the use of such substances by the students of this
community.� �,,,
