• AN ORDINANCE REPLACING ORDINANCE 1997 -21
ESTABLISHING AN EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK FOR EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle passed Ordinance 1997 -21
which replaced Ordinance 1995 -19 establishing an Employee Handbook for the City of Greencastle
Employees; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to update said handbook.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
the Employee Handbook, which is attached and incorporated herein, hereby replaces the previous
Employee Handbook, which was adopted by Ordinance 1997 -21. Be it further ordained that this
handbook shall supercede all prior employee handbooks and any conflicting or differing policies
and/or procedures.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
