PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 309, Lot 2 for the property known as 56 Daniel
Street, CHASEY, MARY applied for and received a $250.00 Senior Citizens
deduction for the 1999 tax year, and
WHEREAS, in 1999, this taxpayer filed an annual post-tax year
statement with the Tax Collector Office, within a timely matter and this
statement ~vas overlooked, and
WHEREAS, upon further review, the Tax Collector has determined
that the taxpayer, does qualify for the $250.00 Senior Citizens deduction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the Tax
Collector cancel the $250.00 Senior Citizens charge for 1999 and credit this
amount accordingly to the homeowner account.
