RESOLUTION NO. 15-9025
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE MANAGER TO
REDUCE THE LINE ITEM FOR COMMISSIONER JOSEPH
KELLEY'S TRAVEL, SPECIAL EVENTS AND RELATED
ACITIVTIES BY 10%; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka currently has a gap in its fiscal year budget
One, as well as gaps and budget issues projected for future years budgets ; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Joseph Kelley has requested that his budget line item
for travel, special events and related activities be reduced by 10% until the budget gap
is filled.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City hereby directs the Manager to reduce Commissioner Kelley's
budget line item for travel, special events and related activities by 10% until the
budget gap is filled;
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
