GULF STREAM HISTORIC HIGHWAY COMMITTEE

I. The meeting was called to order by the chairman,
Jeanne Breazeale, at 9:00 A.M. In attendance were
Jeanne Breazeale, Kim Tiernan, Mary Windle, Eleanor
Woolems and Linda Bryan.
II. Jeanne updated the group on the results of the November
18th meeting of the Palm Beach County Legislative
Delegation. Mayor Koch and Jeanne presented our "tree
protection" bill along with substantial supporting doc-
uments. Only one person in the delegation was opposed
to our Bill. Our own representative took a non-voting
position. According to Mark Foley's office, all systems
are go and our Bill will probably go on the floor this
month.
III. There was a discussion regarding the funding for the
Tree Trimming Program. Jeanne's opinion was that funds
should come from the town through tax money. Her motion
was seconded by Linda Bryan and unanimously supported.
IV. The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 A.M.
