RESOLUTION NO. 15-9032
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO HOLD IN ABEYANCE CODE CITATIONS
ISSUED IN THE TWO WEEKS IMMEDIATLEY PRECEDING
THE JULY 22ND CITY COMMISSION MEETING; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka believes that the issuance of Code Citations must be
fair and managed so as to protect the rights of residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires for the City manager to hold in abeyance all
code citations issued during the two week period preceding the City Commission Meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs the City
Manager hold in abeyance until further direction, all code citations issued in the two week period
prior to the City Commission Meeting.
