GULF STREAM HISTORIC HIGHWAY COMMITTEE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM
TOWN HALL OF GULF STREAM

November 16, 1997
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Jeanne
Breazeale at 9:30 AM. Also in attendance were Mert Anderson,
Cynthia Neeves and Kim Tiernan. Mert Anderson is a new committee
member.
Jeanne Breazeale states that she would like to resign as
Chairman of the committee. Kim Tiernan proposed Cynthia Neeves
to replace her. Mert Anderson seconded the proposal and Jeanne
passed the proposal unanimously.
Discussion ensued pertaining to the need for a larger
committee. It was agreed that a good number would be seven. The
following people have expressed an interest in serving on this
committee:
Randolph Ely
Candace Heydt
Betsy Horenburger
Marjorie McGraw
Perry O'Neal
Scott Tiernan
We would like the commissoners to make their selections
prior to the Tree Planting ceremony on December 17th. It is also
requested that TWO men be selected. Kim Tiernan stated that her
husband is very interested in landscaping and should he be
considered by the commission, she would gladly resign her
position on the committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 AM.
