GULF STREAM HISTORIC HIGHWAY COMMITTEE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM
TOWN HALL OF GULF STREAM

May 24, 1994
I. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Jeanne
Breazeale at 9:15 AM. In attendance were Jeanne Breazeale,
Kim Tiernan, Mary Windle, and Cynthie Neeves. Also in
attendance were Scott Harrington, and Scott Tiernan.
II. Jeanne motioned that the tree trimming program should
commence immediately. Also that the Gulf Stream Golf Club
should maintain all pines on Club property. The motion was
seconded bt Mary and unanimously passed.
III. Scott Tiernan suggested that if additional funds were needed
to trim the trees perhaps it could come from the Civic Assoc.
IV. All agreed that we should continue to persue our Pine Tree
Bill or an amendment to the existing Legislation.
V. Due to energy and time limitations, Jeanne and Kim wish to
find replacements for themselves on the GSHHC. A list was
compiled of possible appointees. The list is to be presented
to the Commission at their next meeting on June 10.
The list is as follows: Audrey Schwartz, Scott Tiernan, Kay
Rogers, Karen Dockerty, Marjorie McGraw, Cinders or Dean Hill,
Jane Spear and Carol Jackson.
IV. The GSHHC feels that it would be beneficial to have as one of
it's members, a person who was also a member of the GSGC. Scott
Harrington said that he would contact the Club president for
suggestions.
V. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 AM.
