HomeMy Public PortalAbout1999-00819 Member Hamilton introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.99-08 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEE SCHEDULE FOR FALSE POLICE AND FIRE ALARMS WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. 307, an ordinance amending Section 355.01 et seq. of the code of ordinances regarding false alarms; and WHEREAS, Section 355.05 requires the city council to establish a schedule for false alarm fees; and WHEREAS, the city council wishes to establish a fee schedule which reflects the administrative costs incurred by the city as a result of false alarms. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The fees for false alarms regarding police calls during any calendar year shall be as follows: First and second false alarms no fee Third false alarm $50.00 Fourth false alarm 75.00 Fifth and each subsequent false alarm 100.00 2. The fees for false alarms regarding fire calls during any calendar year shall be as follows: Dated: January 19,1999.
