Member Hamilton introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99- 09
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF SUB -GRANT AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Medina enter into a Joint Powers Agreement
with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety pertaining to the distribution of
automated external defibrillators to law enforcement agencies.
Ed Belland, Medina Police Chief, is hereby authorized to execute such agreements and
amendments as are necessary to implement this program on behalf of the City of Medina.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Smith and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
