RESOLUTION N0. 67-6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DIRECTING.PREPARATION OF DEBT LIMITATION
REPORT IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF JOSEPHINE
AVENUE ET AL.
The City Council oi' the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth;
WHEREAS, the general nature, location,-and extent of such
improvement is as follows:
Conatruction of concrete curbs and gutters and drive �,
approaches on Josephine Avenue et al between Atla.ntic '
Avenue and the eaEt city limits, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby further determined that the City
Council of the City of Lynwood adopt this resolution under and in
accordance with Secfion 4 of the Streete and Highways Code of the
State of Cali£ornia which is known as the Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Proteat Act of 1931 as
amended. It is hereby further determined that the City Council
proposes to conduct the proceedings £or said proposed work or
improvement under an act of the Legislature of the State of California
known and designated as the "Improvement Act of 1911," as amended, and
WHEREAS, the boundary or extent o£ the assessment district
to be assessed to pay the co�te and expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plan No. 1967-C-1 on file in the office of the City Clerk
o£ said city, which shall govern for all details as to the extent of
said assesement district.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood thatthe City Engineer be and is hereby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report covering
said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said
"Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest
Act of 1931," as amended.
