RESOLUTION N0. 67_7
A RESOLUTIODI OF TKE CITY COUDICIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNNlOOD ADOPTING MAP AND REPORT OF ROUTES FOR
SELECT SYSTEM AND REQUESTING THAT SUCH SYSTEM
BE APPROVED BY THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Chapter 1852 0£ the Statutes o£ 1g63 provides
£or the establiahment of a select system of City streets and County
roads for the purpose of expending thereon funds apportioned to the
'cities and counties from the State highway fund and the expenditure
of matching funds from other sources; and
WHEREAS, Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Code,
as adopted by said Chapter 1852 provides for the submisEion by
each city and county by October l, 1g64 a map and report of
select system routes to the California Highway Commission for
review and approval; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for
review a map and report prepared by the City Engineer to eatabliNh
a select system for the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, the selecf system routea on said City map are
coordinated with local contiguous jurisdictions;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the Council, City of
Lynwood, as follows:
Section l . That certain map, entitled ° MAP OF SELECT
SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS, CITY OF LYNUTOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,
CALIFORNIA," dated January 9, 1967, and that certain report,
entitled "SELECT SYSTEN REPORT - City of Lynwood," dated January
9, 1967 copies of which are on file in the office of the City
Engineer and incorporated herein as if set out in full herein,
are hereby approved by this Council as the select system of streets
for the City of Lynwood, under Section 186.3 of the Streets and
Highways Code.

Section 2 . The Cali£ornia Highway Commi�sion is hereby
requested to approve the select system as shown on the above-
mentioned map and described in the above-mentioned report sub�ect
to such modifications as the Commission finds necessary.
Section 3 . The City Engineer i� hereby directed to
transmit certified copies of this reeolution with the maps and
reports to the Di�trict Engineer of the Division of Highways, for
transmittal tothe California Highway Commission.
