RESOLUTION N0. 67-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING AN EMERGENCY OPERATIOIQS
. PLAN FOR THE CITY OF LYNWOOD WHICH SUPERSEDES
� THE INTERIM PLAN ADOPTED IN NOVEMBER 1g56.
WHEREAS, it has always been the policy of the City of
. Lynwood to be prepared to protect and serve its citizens in times
of disaster or emergeney, and
WHEREAS, to fulfill this need the city adopted an
interim Civil Defense and Disaster Plan and Resolution No. 2303,
and
WHEREAS, in the years that have passed the interim plan
and the resolution have become obsolete, due to changes in national
and state civil defense policy,
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED that tY� City Council of
the City of Lynwood hereby adopts a new Emergency Operations Plan,
which is intended to supersede the interim plan as conceived in
�, November of 1956. Due to the scope of the new plan, the need for
Resolutlon,No. 2303 no longer exists; therefore, the City ,
of the City of Lynwood hereby recinds said resolution. ,
